來蘇格蘭之前

我就已經有所耳聞這裡的人其實有些會種歧

來之前我真的很擔心

但來之後真的在這生活後

你說有多嚴重呢？

其實沒有很明顯

但是有沒有呢？絕對有！

而且好發於年輕群體

所以我看到很多蘇格蘭年輕人走在一塊的時候

你知道年輕常常就會想展現給同儕一些好笑的行為

我會盡量閃到對邊街道 避免正面迎上

你說為什麼他們會有這樣的情況呢

因為有些當地人民認為

都是華人或是印度人等把他們工作飯碗搶走

所以現在工作很難找

可能還有點疫情因素 但現在已經不是這個問題了

第一次遇到的時候

是我撐傘 然後過馬路遇到一個當地年輕人

我可能真的有差點撞到他們吧？

就直接罵髒話

第二次是我跟中國室友走在街上

一個人直接對他比個讚

但是同行友人卻是戲謔性地譏笑

疑似也留下了不大好的言論

今天是自己本身遇到

走到健身房之前

也是一群年輕人

其中一個女生故意走到我並排 保持一些距離

很明顯就是在學我走路的樣子

因為我走下坡有點踮腳尖 然後手抓著外套衣袖 哈哈

她的另外一個朋友看我已經察覺到

就說：Stop it.

才剛來沒多久

就已經三次

雖然很輕微

但是心中會有點難過

為什麼不能一視同仁

寬容以待呢？

這點我覺得台灣做得好太多了。

Before coming to Scotland, I had already heard of some racist incidents happened here.

I myself have had three negative experiences.

Frist time was when I was crossing the road.

There were two young guys swearing at me.

I guess it was because I was holding an umbrella walking toward them. 

Another time was that three young ones(yes! young again) walking to my Chinese flatmate and gave him a thumbup.

And then they laughed at him for no reason.

Today, I was on my way to the gym. 

A huge group of younger adults were behind me.

One girl came up and mocked my way of walking.

Gosh... For a such short period of time, I have encountered three times!

But I have to say that most of the people here are friendly and kind.

Just a few of the people are annoyingly unbearable.

I don't think Taiwan has more racism than here.
