我們談到族裔語言(Heritage Language)

就是你的祖先講的話的意思

台灣有沒有呢？當然有

就是原民語 閩南語 客家語這樣的語言

台灣以漢語為強勢

至今仍未有一個官方語言

在推廣語言學習的過程中

我覺得最難的就是讓一個人真正能夠去想學一個語言

我上述的那些語言都正在消失中

說要怎麼去維持跟保存

可以先從一小步開始

例如跟家人講族語就是很好的實踐！

然後進展到閱讀 聆聽這個語言

我期待能夠再去看到大家能夠先重視母語

用這樣的概念去學習英語

What is a heritage language?

A heritage language is a minority language (either immigrant or indigenous) learned by its speakers at home as children, and difficult to be fully developed because of insufficient input from the social environment.

Does Taiwan have this kind of language?

The answer is yes. 

There are aboriginal languages, Taiwanese Ming Language, Hokka.

I was listening to a podcast called Life Kits.

There is one episode talking about how to learn your parents' language.

It is easy. 

It can be started with baby steps, such as talking to your parents using your heritage language.

This can motivate you to learn more and make the learning process less boring.

So, why not start from today?
