最近事情有點多沒辦法在週末保持一週一PO的慣例

首先是爸爸身體出問題 且先前跟人爭執產生民事糾紛

我先是寫了答辯狀 後面也要代理參加調解委員會

還好對方因為看到答辯狀後

解除所有後面法律手段 包含調解及刑事案件

藉由這些生活事件 又學到了很多英文

原來答辯狀就是pleading

是對原告(plaintiff)所提出的告訴(lawsuit)提出答辯

因為這件事我是第一次碰到那麼多法律呢！

再來是爸爸需要心臟出了問題 血管狹窄阻塞造成呼吸困難

醫生說有兩大選擇

1. 血管支架（stents)

2. 心臟繞道手術(coronary artery bypass graft or CABG) 

各有利弊，為此家人討論許久。

你或許會問，都出那麼多事了，

你還在學英文？

其實是因為

要用英文的資訊去交叉比對，

讓我能夠下更精準的決定緣故。

或許你覺得我走火入魔，

但其實只是在用這個語言解決問題罷了，

好了，嚷嚷完，還是得繼續面對人生的課題。

I've been a little busy lately, so I couldn't keep up the weekly posting routine over the weekend.

First of all, my father has a health problem and he had a civil dispute with someone.

First I wrote a defense and then I had to represent him in the mediation committee.

Luckily, after the other party read our pleading, 

they dismissed all subsequent legal actions, including mediation and criminal cases.

I have learned a lot of English through these life events.

This is the first time I've come across so many laws!

And then there's the problem with Dad's heart, in which the arteries narrowed and blocked, making it hard for him to breathe.

The doctor said there are two options.

1. stents.

2. coronary artery bypass graft (CABG)

Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the family has been discussing this for a long time.

You may ask, "During all this, why are you still thinking about English learning?

In fact, it is because searching information in English offers different perspectives.

It allows me to make more accurate decisions.

Maybe you think I'm obsessed.

But I'm just using this language to solve problems.

Well, after all the murmuring, I still have to face life's problems.
