我看了不少免費pay what you want shows
Edinburgh has been bustling with activity lately, with hotel and hostel prices soaring to new heights. Fortunately, my student status still comes in handy during this period. Otherwise, I would be exploited as a tourist.
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on the other hand, is a remarkable opportunity. This event draws performers from across the globe, offering a rich tapestry of shows that range from awe-inspiring circus stunts to uproarious stand-up comedy. The festival serves as a captivating showcase for a diverse array of art forms.
During my time here, I had the chance to attend numerous free "pay what you want" shows. While they weren't subpar in quality, it's worth noting that many of these performances are deeply rooted in local culture. For those unfamiliar with the culture, some of them may appear less relevant or even entirely disconnected.
However, looking at the bigger picture, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival offers a rewarding experience. It serves as an exceptional gateway to immerse oneself in the local culture, gaining insights into customs and traditions. Additionally, it's a reminder that the journey of English learning is an ongoing one. Cultural learning plays an integral role in our overall education.
